(WYMT) &#8211; A London man was arrested after reportedly driving under the influence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers with the Laurel County Sheriff\u2019s Office said Lucas Nantz, 39, was arrested on May 29 at 10:03 a.m. off E. Pittsburg Church Road, approximately 2 miles north of London.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Deputies said they were sent to the area after a complaint about Nantz hitting a mailbox. The man reportedly left the scene on foot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">When officers arrived at the scene, they said Nantz was impaired. He was also found with a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating on suspended or revoked operator\u2019s license, and leaving the scene of an accident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WYMT.
