Prince William<\/a> is set to appear at this year\u2019s Royal Cornwall Show<\/a>, where he\u2019ll be joined by a fellow royal family member<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales<\/a>, 42, will attend the annual agricultural showcase<\/a> in Wadebridge, Cornwall, on Friday, June 6, alongside his aunt, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event, which has been a staple of the region since 1793<\/a>, is expected to attract more than 120,000 visitors. It celebrates Cornwall\u2019s farming and rural traditions through a variety of exhibits, including livestock competitions and locally produced food and drinks.<\/p>\n

Both William and Sophie are patrons<\/a> of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association<\/a> and their joint attendance underscores a shared commitment to the region and its agricultural roots.<\/p>\n

Celebrating Cornish Culture and Community<\/p>\n

During their visit, William and Sophie are expected to explore the Royal Cornwall Food and Farming Pavilion<\/a>, where they will sample a variety of locally made products.<\/p>\n

Per People, William will also stop by the Duchy of Cornwall hub,<\/a> where mental health organizations such as Pentreath Cornwall Rural Community Charity<\/a>, Georgia\u2019s Voice<\/a>, and Sunrise Mental Health Recovery <\/a>will be showcased.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sophie, 60, <\/a>is expected to take time to visit with groups she supports as a patron, including LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming)<\/a> and Girl Guides, the UK\u2019s largest youth organization<\/a> dedicated to young women. <\/p>\n

A Continued Partnership<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Prince William <\/a>and his aunt have appeared together at a public engagement<\/a>. In June 2023, they appeared together at a private screening of \u201cRhino Man,\u201d<\/a> a documentary about wildlife rangers. The screening<\/a>, hosted by United for Wildlife<\/a> and held at Battersea Power Station, highlighted their mutual interest in conservation efforts.<\/p>\n

At the time, Kensington Palace<\/a> shared that Sophie was \u201cdelighted to join the Prince of Wales at the event this evening to show her support for United for Wildlife.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their bond has also been noted during other high-profile royal events<\/a>. In June 2024, Sophie was seen placing a hand on William\u2019s back <\/a>in a supportive gesture during Trooping the Colour<\/a>. The affectionate act came as the royal family <\/a>made their way off the Buckingham Palace<\/a> balcony and into the Centre Room.<\/p>\n

The Royal Cornwall Show was previously attended<\/a> by William\u2019s father, King Charles<\/a>, and Queen Camilla<\/a> in 2022. During that visit, Charles was honored<\/a> for his 70th anniversary as Duke of Cornwall and presented trophies in the Livestock Inter-Breed Championship.<\/p>\n
