Germany’s women thrashed Austria 6-0 away – with all the goals coming in the first half – as they ended their Nations League campaign on a high and headed towards the Euros in fine form.<\/p>\n

In their last outing before their Euro bow against Poland on July 4 in Switzerland’s St Gallen, Bayern Munich’s Sydney Lohmann netted twice to make the stand-out contribution in Vienna – including the opener in the first minute.<\/p>\n

Germany had already secured top spot in Group A1 to reach the Nations League semi-finals in October.<\/p>\n

But they showed no let up on Tuesday in a big boost for coach Christian W\u00fcck, whose side have found their groove with five straight wins after mixed results when he first took over last year.<\/p>\n

The coach names his Euro squad on June 12.<\/p>\n
