A woman who won a \u00a33m home as she was on the way to McDonald\u2019s and celebrated with a Happy Meal is selling the property for \u00a32.5m. Lauren Keene, 24, became the youngest Omaze Grand Prize winner after securing the ‘Hollywood Hills’ inspired mansion in Caldy<\/a>, Wirral<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The contemporary five-bedroom house came complete with coastal views, a cinema room and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Lauren won the house last year but now plans to sell it – with the property appearing on Rightmove for \u00a32.5m.<\/p>\n

The listing describes the house<\/a> as “striking” and “something truly special”. It says: ”Set within 1.18 acres of secluded, private grounds on Thorsway – the most exclusive road on the Wirral peninsula – Rock Mount is a landmark contemporary home offering almost 4,700 sq. ft. of inspired living space.<\/p>\n

”Designed by renowned architects Shedkm, the property was nominated for the prestigious RIBA Mansell House of the Year award, praised by the judging panel as ‘an original and inspiring new composition that matches the quality of its setting in every way’.”<\/p>\n

Lauren was on her way to grab a McDonald\u2019s<\/a> drive-thru after work when Omaze called her to say she\u2019d won a prize. She said she didn\u2019t mind skipping the meal as “missing that Maccies made me a multi-millionaire.”<\/p>\n

She did eventually celebrate with a McDonald\u2019s<\/a> later that evening, and added: “It was a very, very happy meal indeed.”<\/p>\n

The full-time nanny from Gloucester also won \u00a3250,000 in cash to help her settle in.<\/p>\n

She then lived with her dad in his two-bed flat and joked: “He’s most delighted about the fact I can finally move out now.”<\/p>\n

The property<\/a> came mortgage free and with all legal fees covered and if she decided to rent it out could make around \u00a38,000 per month.<\/p>\n

Lauren, who bought her \u00a33m winning entry for just \u00a320 as part of her Omaze subscription, has been with partner Ryan Mitchell since they were both 18-years-old.<\/p>\n

At the time Lauren added: “It was just an ordinary Friday really, I was heading for a McDonald\u2019s after work when I got a call from Omaze telling me I\u2019d won something. I was sceptical – and hungry – but went straight home to see what I’d won.<\/p>\n

“The next thing we knew, the Omaze team were all there telling us we\u2019d won a \u00a33m mansion. I was gobsmacked.<\/p>\n

“It was definitely worth missing my McDonald\u2019s<\/a> for, it\u2019s made me a multi-millionaire.<\/p>\n
