King Charles ‘appalled’ as Prince Harry takes ‘drastic step’: ‘Clear gesture of enmity’<\/p>\n

Prince Harry has apparently taken a ‘drastic step’ against the royal family, and the move has been dubbed \u2018clear gesture of enmity.\u2019<\/p>\n

This has remarked by royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams while speaking to the Daily Express, per the GB News.<\/p>\n

He said King Charles will be greatly wounded by Harry\u2019s attempts to change his family name.<\/p>\n

The royal expert told the publication, \u201cSomeone\u2019s family name is a pivotal and public link to the other family members.”<\/p>\n

He went on saying the duke\u2019s desire to drop a name shared by his father King Charles and brother Prince William among other members of the Royal Family would therefore have been a \u201cclear gesture of enmity\u201d.<\/p>\n

Richard Fitzwilliams believes the news would have come as a \u201cdeeply hurtful\u201d revelation to Harry\u2019s father.<\/p>\n

The royal expert continued, \u201cThe King will be appalled that his youngest son has considered such a drastic step.\u201d<\/p>\n

He went on saying Prince Harry\u2019s move will have only served to \u201cwiden the royal rift\u201d between him and the rest of the Royal Family since he and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down as working royals in 2020.<\/p>\n

Sharing the report on X, formerly Twitter handle, Fitzwilliams tweeted \u201cKing Charles will be \u2018appalled\u2019 and \u2018hurt\u2019 by Prince Harry\u2019s latest bombshell move. The Sussexes have not denied this report & it must be extremely hurtful for the monarch. A bizarre idea from Harry.\u201d<\/p>\n
