Slot aims to strengthen after title-winning campaign<\/p>\n

Liverpool\u2019s fast-moving transfer strategy under Arne Slot is clear. With the club coming off a Premier League-winning campaign in Slot\u2019s first season, the intention is to build a squad capable of sustaining success. Jeremie Frimpong has already signed from Bayer Leverkusen for \u00a329.4m, while exits such as Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid and Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford have reshaped the squad.<\/p>\n

Andy Robertson remains a key figure at Anfield, but with only a year left on his contract and having turned 31 in March, the club is clearly planning ahead. Kerkez offers energy, aggression and potential, making him an ideal long-term option.<\/p>\n

Jamie Carragher was full of praise for the young defender earlier in the season on Sky Sports\u2019 Monday Night Football. \u201cHe\u2019s aggressive, he\u2019s got pace. Even when you look at him, he looks like a full-back. Little, really aggressive, after wingers on that side. He\u2019s just bombing up and down that left side.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been superb since he\u2019s come into the Premier League with Bournemouth, and he\u2019s probably one to watch for the future, whether he stays at the club or moves on, because he\u2019s made that much of an impact.\u201d<\/p>\n
