On Instagram<\/a>, 50 Cent dug up an old interview clip where Diddy castigated then-presidential hopeful Donald Trump<\/a>, asserting, “If Trump gets elected, I really do believe in my heart there will be a race war. That’s why there’s messages, not just to Black people, you know what I’m saying? There’s messages to everybody. This man is really trying to turn us against each other and put us in this situation. America messed up.”<\/p>\n In another extracted quote, Diddy was unequivocal in his stance, affirming, “White men like Trump need to be banished.”<\/p>\n These comments have bubbled back up amid whispers that Diddy was angling for Trump’s good graces, reportedly to secure a potential presidential pardon, a rumour Trump has labeled as false.<\/p>\n Despite their previous friendly ties, highlighted by Trump gracing Diddy’s famed White Party and him labelling Diddy as a “good friend” on a Celebrity Apprentice broadcast, Trump has divulged to Mirror US that he hasn’t “spoken to [Diddy] in years,” adding, “He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics, that relationship busted up from what I read. I don’t know, he didn’t tell me that, but I’d read some nasty statements in the paper all of a sudden.”<\/p>\n “It’s different, you become a much different person when you run for politics, and you do what’s right. I could do other things, and I’m sure he’d like me, and I’m sure other people would like me, but it wouldn’t be as good for our country. Like we said, our country is doing really well because of what we’re doing.
