{"id":157278,"date":"2025-06-04T10:48:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T10:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/157278\/"},"modified":"2025-06-04T10:48:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T10:48:10","slug":"new-gravel-cycle-routes-open-in-north-york-moors-national-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/157278\/","title":{"rendered":"New gravel cycle routes open in North York Moors National Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Three &#8220;exciting&#8221; new gravel cycling routes have been opened in the North York Moors National Park.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The routes, which all start at Sutton Bank, reach into less frequented areas of the park&#8217;s western edge, including Rievaulx Abbey, the Cleveland Hills and the Vale of Mowbray.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The circular routes, the longest of which runs for 30 miles (25km), follow existing bridleways and gravel tracks as well as an ancient drover&#8217;s road, according to a spokesperson for the park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Cycling writer Guy Kesteven, who helped design the routes, said: &#8220;They are easily accessible off-road routes for gravel bikes, hybrid bikes or mountain bikes.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Three &#8220;exciting&#8221; new gravel cycling routes have been opened in the North York Moors National Park.
