A supermarket chain is offering free bike check-ups during the Tour of Britain Women’s race in Glasgow Green<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lidl’s Dr Bike service will be available in the race fan zone on Sunday, June 8.<\/p>\n

The service will also be available at five key locations on the race route.<\/p>\n

The race, which runs from Thursday, June 5, and ends on Sunday, June 8, takes riders through Yorkshire’s North York Moors National Park, the Tees Valley, the Scottish Borders<\/a>, and finishes in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

This year marks the race’s first venture into Scotland, with stages in Kelso and a city-centre finale in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

The Lidl-Trek women\u2019s cycling team, with riders from Great Britain, New Zealand, Canada, and the Netherlands, is competing in the race.<\/p>\n

Customers can find Dr Bike marquees within their local store car park, where they will receive a bike safety check-up from fully qualified mechanics.<\/p>\n

The check-up will include basic fixes and maintenance advice.<\/p>\n
