So London travellers will be glad to know that three of the capital\u2019s airports have been ranked among the best in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Skytrax have crunched the numbers to determine the World Airport Awards, with London<strong> Heathrow<\/strong> coming in clutch to nab the 22nd spot, the highest-placed airport we have in this city (though it did fall a place from last year\u2019s spot). It also comes in the top 10 for the rankings of those with more than 70 million passengers, as well as the rankings for European airports.<\/p>\n<p> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-277561\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"Singapore Changi Airport \" width=\"934\" height=\"701\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/annie-l-gpZ0LOvMnrs-unsplash-666x500.jpg\"\/>Singapore Changi Airport (Credit: Annie L, Unsplash) <\/p>\n<p>In at number 36 was <strong>London Gatwick<\/strong>, who improved by 12 places on the Skytrax list, and just making the cut was <strong>London City airport<\/strong> at 91st place, a drop of nine spots from last year.<\/p>\n<p>Who took the number one spot? Well, that was Singapore Changi Airport which\u2026 you probably just need to take one glance at it to understand why. It pipped the 2024 winners, Doha Hamad, to the post, who dropped down one place to second, coming in just ahead of Tokyo Haneda, Seoul Incheon, and Tokyo Narita to complete the top five spots.
