{"id":158203,"date":"2025-06-04T18:47:11","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T18:47:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/158203\/"},"modified":"2025-06-04T18:47:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T18:47:11","slug":"singer-jessie-j-reveals-she-has-been-diagnosed-with-early-breast-cancer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/158203\/","title":{"rendered":"Singer Jessie J reveals she has been diagnosed with \u2018early breast cancer\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Singer Jessie J said she has been diagnosed with \u201cearly breast cancer\u201d and plans to undergo surgery following her performance at this month\u2019s Summertime Ball.<\/p>\n<p>The Price Tag singer, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, said in an Instagram video she has spent much of her recent time \u201cin and out of tests\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The 37-year-old said: \u201cI was diagnosed with early breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCancer sucks in any form, but I\u2019m holding on to the word \u2018early\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive tits and more music.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pop star said she had announced her diagnosis publicly to help her process the news, and to show solidarity with others who are going through a similar experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just wanted to be open and share it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne, because, selfishly, I do not talk about it enough. I\u2019m not processing it because I\u2019m working so hard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. I\u2019m an open book.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much similar and worse \u2014 that\u2019s the bit that kills me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued: \u201cThe timing of it has been mad but also beautiful and given me this incredible perspective in this time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"caas-img caas-lazy has-preview\" alt=\"Cirque Du Soleil\u2019s Luzia premiere\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/45ecd33033e9a42d6106b0ecc28cdbe2.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Price Tag singer welcomed her son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman, in 2023 (Ian West\/PA)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut honestly I need to process it and talk about it and, I need a hug. You have loved me through all my good and hard times.
