LOVE Island hunk Dejon Noel-Williams was questioned by police after he was accused of stealing a phone on a night out.<\/p>\n

The semi-pro footballer, 26, who is set to star in the new series<\/a>, was interviewed after a woman\u2019s mobile was taken in London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It makes Dejon<\/a> the second Islander this series to have been quizzed by cops, after The Sun yesterday revealed Kyle Ashman <\/a>was held over a machete attack<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Both were released with no further action.<\/p>\n

ITV<\/a> was aware of the incident with Dejon when he secured his place on the dating<\/a> show, a spokesman confirmed.<\/p>\n

He spoke to cops alongside Kettering FC footballer Harlain Mbayo, who was ordered to carry out a community resolution, which can involve an apology or compensation.<\/p>\n

The dispute was sparked over payment for food and an Uber<\/a> taxi ride.<\/p>\n

Personal trainer Dejon<\/a> last night told The Sun: \u201cI was never arrested. <\/p>\n

\u201cI voluntarily spoke to the police<\/a> to clarify the truth about what happened in this incident, with no further action taken.<\/p>\n

“To stress, my intentions here were entirely honourable and it is very upsetting to read claims that suggest otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Met Police<\/a> said: \u201cOn March 16 at 04:05hrs officers responded to a report of a robbery in which a phone was taken.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn investigation was launched and two men voluntarily took part in interviews. The victim\u2019s phone was recovered and has been returned.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo further action was taken against the 26-year-old man.\u201d<\/p>\n
