It\u2019s over! EastEnders\u2019 Lauren Branning<\/a> (Jacqueline Jossa<\/a>) has called time on her relationship with Peter Beale<\/a> (Thomas Law<\/a>) in tonight\u2019s episode.<\/p>\n The couple have been struggling immensely in the wake of newborn son Jimmy\u2019s\u00a0visual impairment diagnosis<\/a> \u2013 something which Peter openly blamed Lauren for.\u00a0<\/p>\n Lauren took responsibility, given her\u00a0painkiller addiction while she was pregnant<\/a>, but was hoping that her fianc\u00e9 would take a more sympathetic approach moving forward in their relationship.<\/p>\n This wasn\u2019t the case, and after a vicious argument, she stormed out of the house and attempted to hit the bottle.<\/p>\n Luckily, she didn\u2019t relapse. However, a heart to heart with Zack Hudson<\/a>\u00a0(James Farrar<\/a>) led to the two enjoying a kiss<\/a>, and she stayed the night. The next morning she was relieved that they hadn\u2019t slept together, knowing that she\u2019d have to head home and face Peter.<\/p>\n When they eventually came face to face, he was furious, and demanded to know where she\u2019d disappeared to. Quickly covering, she said she\u2019d spent the night with a friend.<\/p>\n Not exactly a lie, but by not divulging the friend\u2019s identity only intensified Peter\u2019s suspicions.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t Later, when he returned home from the hospital with Jimmy, he urged Lauren to come clean about what had happened.
