The final trailer for The Life of Chuck<\/strong> showcases the critical praise, including a quote from our own Meagan Navarro\u2019s Bloody Disgusting review<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Based on Stephen King<\/strong>\u2018s 2020 novella of the same name, the genre-bending film opens in select cities this Friday, June 6<\/strong>, before expanding nationwide on June 13<\/strong> from Neon.<\/p>\n

Written and directed by Mike Flanagan<\/strong>, it celebrates the life of Charles \u2018Chuck\u2019 Krantz as he experiences the wonder of love, the heartbreak of loss, and the multitudes contained in all of us. <\/p>\n

Tom Hiddleston, Jacob Tremblay, <\/strong>and Benjamin Pajak\u00a0<\/strong>each play the titular character at different points in his life.<\/p>\n

Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Annalise Basso, Mia Sara, Matthew Lillard, Carl Lumbly, Samantha Sloyan, Harvey Guillen, Kate Siegel<\/strong>, and Mark Hamill<\/strong> co-star.<\/p>\n

The ensemble also includes Heather Langenkamp, Rahul Kohli, David Dastmalchian, Violet McGraw, Hamish Linklater, Lauren LaVera<\/strong>, and\u00a0Nick Offerman<\/strong> as the narrator.<\/p>\n

Meagan wrote in her review, \u201cIt\u2019s the little things that matter most, both in life and in The Life of Chuck. Flanagan finds inventive and stylish ways to remind us of this throughout, shaking loose deep-seated memories from Chuck\u2019s upbringing and highlighting the way small choices or unobtrusive memories can create a lasting ripple effect throughout the years.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Life of Chuck marks Flanagan\u2019s third King adaptation, following Gerald\u2019s Game\u00a0<\/strong>and Doctor Sleep<\/strong>. He\u2019s also in pre-production on a \u201cCarrie<\/strong><\/a>\u201d series and developing a Dark Tower<\/strong><\/a> series.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
