pursuit of Brentford\u2019s Bryan Mbeumo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester United\u2019s<\/a> focus on attacking additions early in the summer transfer window is no great surprise.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/tag\/ruben-amorim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ruben Amorim\u2019s<\/a> side struggled for goals in the Premier League this past season, hitting just 44 goals in 38 games.<\/p>\n<p>Adding attacking quality is the number one priority and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wolves.co.uk\/news\/mens-first-team\/20250601-cunha-completes-man-utd-switch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">United have agreed to sign Matheus Cunha<\/a> from Wolverhampton Wanderers.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian provides an instant boost for United, but Amorim is looking for further additions in attack.<\/p>\n<p>Reports earlier this week suggested <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/transfer-news\/bryan-mbeumo-makes-clear-manchester-united-transfer-stance-as-ineos-push-for-another-attacking-signing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brentford\u2019s Bryan Mbeumo wants a move to United<\/a> \u2013\u00a0but there is work to be done.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6398630\/2025\/06\/04\/bryan-mbeumo-manchester-united-transfer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Athletic<\/a>, United have submitted a bid worth up to \u00a355million for Mbeumo.<\/p>\n<p>That deal consists of a \u00a345million fixed fee, with a further \u00a310million in potential add-ons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>United In Focus <\/strong>understands Brentford intend to reject that offer and the Bees are seeking a deal worth more than \u00a360million.<\/p>\n<p>The ball is back in United\u2019s court as talks continue in an attempt to thrash out a second attacking addition of the summer window.<\/p>\n<p>Mbeumo is under contract until 2026, but Brentford have an option to extend that deal by a further year.<\/p>\n<p>The 25-year-old hit 20 goals and eight assists in 38 Premier League games this past season, producing an impressive campaign for the Bees, as seen below in stats provided by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofascore.com\/player\/bryan-mbeumo\/927083?utm_source=unitedinfocus.com&amp;utm_medium=FootballPlayerCard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener Mbeumo 2024\/25  stats<strong>United ready to commit big wages to Bryan Mbeumo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mbeumo\u2019s interest in the move to Old Trafford is a major boost for United, but there is work to be done with Brentford.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of a contract with Mbeumo, <strong>United in Focus<\/strong> understands <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/transfer-news\/the-wages-man-united-are-willing-to-pay-bryan-mbeumo-as-ineos-open-talks-with-brentford\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">United are prepared to pay Mbeumo around \u00a3250,000-a-week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That would be a hefty increase on his current wages at Brentford, similar to how Matheus Cunha will now earn \u00a3200,000-a-week at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>Mbeumo could become one of United\u2019s highest earners, but the pressure is now on Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos to meet Brentford\u2019s demands.<\/p>\n<p>Signing Cunha and Mbeumo in the opening stages of the window would be quite the start for United and a huge boost for Amorim after some goal-shy displays from his
