A man has been stabbed on Hatton Garden, a street famous for its jewellers, in broad daylight.<\/p>\n
The police were called to a fight on the street in Holborn around 3.30pm today (June 4).<\/p>\n
Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and a 24-year-old man was treated for stab wounds.<\/p>\n
He is now in hospital in an unknown condition.<\/p>\n
There have been no arrests and a crime scene remains in place while officers investigate.<\/p>\n
A Met spokesperson said: \u201cOn Wednesday, 4 June at 15:39hrs police were called to Hatton Gardens, EC1 following reports of an altercation.<\/p>\n
\u201cOfficers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, who treated a 24-year-old man for stab injuries.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has been taken to hospital and we await an update on his condition.<\/p>\n
\u201cRoad closures are in place while police investigate. No arrests have been made at this early stage.<\/p>\n
