Manchester United may now have the chance to sign Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens following January transfer interest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Goalkeeping targets have been in mind for Manchester United<\/a> for several months now.<\/p>\n

Attacking additions are the main focus, with United agreeing to sign Matheus Cunha<\/a> as Bryan Mbeumo chases a move to Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

United continue to be linked with goalkeepers, though, after claims in January that Ruben Amorim<\/a> wanted to sign two goalkeepers.<\/p>\n

Andre Onana struggled this past season and Altay Bayindir is expected to leave United<\/a>, though Tom Heaton could stay put<\/a>.<\/p>\n

United must have potential first-choice and second-choice goalkeepers in mind this summer, with one talent in Belgium on the radar.<\/p>\n

Benfica\u2019s Anatoliy Trubin has been linked to United<\/a>, though the Ukrainian was described as a target had Amorim won the Europa League.<\/p>\n

A name to keep in mind is Senne Lammens, who has been shining for Royal Antwerp in his native Belgium.<\/p>\n

United were keen to sign Lammens<\/a> in January, though that was potentially with a view to replacing Bayindir.<\/p>\n

United were again linked with Lammens<\/a> in March, as the 22-year-old continued to shine in Belgium\u2019s top flight.<\/p>\n

More recent reports have highlighted that Lammens\u2019 name has been connected to United<\/a> \u2018quite often\u2019 ahead of the summer window.<\/p>\n

Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri now claims that Royal Antwerp have \u2018opened the door\u2019 for Lammens to leave this summer.<\/p>\n

Royal Antwerp understand that Lammens is attracting major interest and may cash in with his stock so high.<\/p>\n

The Belgian side are exploring goalkeeping signings of their own, potentially preparing for life without Lammens.<\/p>\n

That potential availability won\u2019t go unnoticed inside United, but much will depend on the futures of Onana and Bayindir \u2013 and how quickly they move on.<\/p>\n

Senne Lammens on his Royal Antwerp future<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lammens could be on the move this summer, but he isn\u2019t exactly chasing a move away as things stand.<\/p>\n

As quoted by Voetbal Nieuws<\/a> in May, Lammens noted that he is \u2018open to everything\u2019.<\/p>\n

However, Lammens admitted that he would not be against staying with Royal Antwerp for one more year if the right option doesn\u2019t arise.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is my own position? I am open to everything. I would not mind playing at Antwerp for another year. But we will see what the options are,\u201d said Lammens.<\/p>\n

We would imagine that United view Lammens as a replacement for Bayindir rather than Onana, and would be looking for him to challenge in the long-term.<\/p>\n

Lammens has become used to starting on a regular basis for Royal Antwerp, so it remains to be seen whether he would accept a second-choice role with United.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
