I’m a firm believer that you can truly support only one team in sport.<\/p>\n
You may be interested in other sports and go to watch other clubs, but there’s just one that has a profound impact on your happiness and takes up the bulk of your attention. For me, that team is Sheffield United<\/a>.<\/p>\n I’ve been fortunate in my life to live in different cities and cover different sports. I’ve watched Jude Bellingham<\/a> play in the Bernabeu<\/a>, been to the Super Bowl<\/a> and reported from cricket’s T20 World Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n That’s all incredibly exciting, and I want to witness as many sporting events as possible. But those experiences are exactly that: an experience.<\/p>\n The results of those games don’t truly matter to me. I love cricket, for example, but do I really care if England win or lose? Probably not. But if the Blades lose, my weekend’s ruined.
