Prince Harry<\/a> has broken his silence following the Court of Appeal\u2019s decision to reject his plea to reinstate full-time police protection while in the UK.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking in a new BBC interview, the Duke claimed he\u2019s been caught in an \u201cEstablishment stitch-up\u201d and expressed fear that he and his family could meet a fate similar to that of his mother, Princess Diana.<\/p>\n

Notably, Princess Diana<\/a> died in a 1997 Paris car crash while being chased by paparazzi.<\/p>\n

While taking aim at his father, King Charles III<\/a>, Harry revealed, \u201cHe won\u2019t speak to me. I don\u2019t know how much longer\u201d his father, who is battling cancer, will live.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would love reconciliation with my family,\u201d Harry told the BBC. \u201cThere is no point in continuing to fight anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Royal author and former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown, while talking with BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg, noted, \u201cI didn\u2019t hear two very crucial words in that entire sort of jeremiad about, you know, \u2018I\u2019d like to reconcile, I\u2019m sorry,\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, he never said, \u2018I\u2019m sorry, I\u2019m sorry I caused my family all of this pain.\u2019 That is really what they\u2019re upset about, not the security.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, also believes Harry\u2019s difficulties today stem in part from his childhood. \u201cLike his mother and grandmother, Charles hated confrontation and did what he usually did when faced with a crisis beyond his immediate control: turned away from it,\u201d Seward wrote in her recent book My Mother and I. \u201cThis course of inaction would come to haunt Charles over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHis youngest son, Prince Harry, complained how difficult it was to get hold of \u2018Pa,\u2019 as he calls him, when his father didn\u2019t want to take his calls, which he frequently didn\u2019t,\u201d she continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n
