{"id":160023,"date":"2025-06-05T10:59:11","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T10:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/160023\/"},"modified":"2025-06-05T10:59:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T10:59:11","slug":"mclaren-f1-team-to-take-over-londons-trafalgar-square","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/160023\/","title":{"rendered":"McLaren F1 team to take over London\u2019s Trafalgar Square"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autosport.com\/team\/mclaren\/36473\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">McLaren<\/a> Formula 1 team will take over London\u2019s Trafalgar Square on 2-3 July to host McLaren Racing Live: London, a two-day event celebrating all things racing and innovation ahead of the team\u2019s home race.<\/p>\n<p>The free event will allow fans to get up close to McLaren cars that compete across multiple championships, including Formula 1, Formula E, IndyCar, WEC, and heritage cars.<\/p>\n<p>Other events taking place include interactive experiences such as racing simulators, a Batak reaction wall, a pit-stop challenge, and a dedicated McLaren Racing merchandise store.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the race team will also make guest appearances over the two days in the capital ahead of the team&#8217;s home race, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autosport.com\/location\/silverstone\/27972\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">the British Grand Prix<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Louise McEwen, chief marketing officer for McLaren Racing, said: &#8220;We absolutely cannot wait to paint Trafalgar Square papaya with McLaren Racing Live: London.
