Tom Hiddleston first played the God of Mischief in 2011’s\u00a0Thor, and\u00a0reprised\u00a0the role in\u00a0Captain America: The First Avenger,\u00a0The Avengers,\u00a0Thor: The Dark World,\u00a0Thor: Ragnarok,\u00a0Avengers: Infinity War,\u00a0Avengers, Endgame,\u00a0What If…?, and eventually his own\u00a0Disney+\u00a0TV series,\u00a0Loki.<\/p>\n
It’s been one heck of a ride for the British actor, and despite repeatedly\u00a0hinting that it ended with Loki’s season 2 finale, Hiddleston was among the actors confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday.<\/p>\n
The God of Mischief is now\u00a0“God Loki,” and arguably the most powerful being in the entire MCU, as he powers the newly recreated Multiverse.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We’d imagine that will make him a major player in\u00a0Avengers: Doomsday\u00a0and\u00a0Avengers: Secret Wars. However,\u00a0with Kang the Conqueror off the table, it’s hard to say how his story will fit into whatever the Russo Brothers have planned for Doctor Doom. After all, a huge part of Loki was devoted to setting up Kang and his Variants as the Multiverse’s most terrifying threat.<\/p>\n
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss The Life of Chuck, Hiddleston was asked by the host about Loki “holding all the timelines in the Multiverse.” He responded, “Still is…I mean, we haven’t seen him do anything different.”<\/strong><\/p>\n “See, this is where I run out of rope, Jimmy. We always do this dance, you and me. I can exclusively tell you…I will be there,”<\/strong> Hiddleston continued.\u00a0“There was the big thing they released of all the names on the back of the chairs, I didn’t know, I was like, ‘Oh I guess I’m in the movie.’ In fairness, I did know I was in the movie. But I am so used to not knowing ‘I’m in the movie.'”<\/strong><\/p>\n Doom is bound to take a vested\u00a0interest in Loki, given that he’s keeping the Multiverse alive.
