{"id":160153,"date":"2025-06-05T12:05:13","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T12:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/160153\/"},"modified":"2025-06-05T12:05:13","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T12:05:13","slug":"frances-dassault-aviation-ties-up-with-tata-for-rafale-fuselage-manufacturing-in-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/160153\/","title":{"rendered":"France\u2019s Dassault Aviation ties up with Tata for Rafale fuselage manufacturing in India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>New Delhi:\u00a0<\/strong>French aviation major Dassault Aviation, a front-runner for the multi-role fighter aircraft contract in India, has tied up with Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) to manufacture all the fuselage sections of the Rafale fighter jet in India.<\/p>\n<p>The first fuselage\u00a0sections\u00a0are\u00a0expected to be rolled out in 2028, with a target capacity of\u00a0two complete fuselages per month.<\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, Dassault Aviation and Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group have an existing partnership as part of the offsets for the 36 Rafale aircraft deal signed in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tShow Full Article<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDassault Aviation and Tata Advanced Systems Limited have signed four production transfer agreements to manufacture the Rafale fighter aircraft fuselage in India, marking a significant step forward in strengthening the country\u2019s aerospace manufacturing capabilities and supporting global supply chains,\u201d a statement by Tata said.<\/p>\n<p>Under the scope of the partnership, Tata Advanced Systems will set up a production facility in Hyderabad for the manufacture of key structural sections of the Rafale, including the lateral shells of the rear fuselage, the complete rear section, the central fuselage, and the front section.<\/p>\n<p>The facility represents a significant investment in the Indian aerospace infrastructure and will serve as a critical hub for high-precision manufacturing, the TASL statement added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first fuselage sections are expected to roll off the assembly line in FY2028, with the facility expected to deliver up to two complete fuselages per month,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>It will mark the production of the Rafale fuselage outside France for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a decisive step in strengthening our supply chain in India.
