The King left onlookers stunned after taking a stroll down a busy London street to a shopping market today.<\/p>\n

King Charles, 76, was visiting Christ Church, Spitalfields, before concluding his visit at Old Spitalfields Market.<\/p>\n

His Majesty walked across the busy road to the shopping market without the road being shut down, and public spectators were everywhere.<\/p>\n

One woman, an Australian tourist, told GB News that today was her birthday and she couldn’t believe her luck when she saw the King.<\/p>\n

She told the People’s Channel: “We couldn’t believe it! We came to London, looked up, and there was the King!”<\/p>\n

Another onlooker, who works nearby Spitalfields Market, told GB News: “It was unbelievable to see the King of England on my lunch break, at my local market!<\/p>\n

“I come here almost every day, so it was a real shock.”<\/p>\n

Cameron Walker, GB News’ Royal Correspondent, wrote on X: “It\u2019s not every day you see a head of state strolling through the busy streets of London. <\/p>\n

“With no road closures and plenty of surprised onlookers, The King made his way on foot to Old Spitalfields Market.”<\/p>\n

At Spitalfields Market, the 76-year-old monarch met stallholders specialising in interior design, set design and costume on the traditional Antiques Thursday.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, King Charles came face to face with the gospel choir that performed at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s wedding back in 2018.<\/p>\n

The King visited the South by Southwest London festival in Shoreditch, where he was welcomed by a vibrant performance from the Kingdom Choir at Ely’s Yard.<\/p>\n

Royal fans were amazed and surprised to see the King.<\/p>\n

The 76-year-old monarch was greeted by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Rayner, upon his arrival.<\/p>\n

The King later walked to Christ Church in the pouring rain, where he viewed “Beautiful Collisions”, an exhibition celebrating Caribbean artists’ influence on British art and culture. <\/p>\n

The display featured works by Alberta Whittle, Alvaro Barrington, Denzil Forrester, Zinzi Minott and Alex Rita, combining visual arts, community engagement and music.<\/p>\n

In the church crypt, His Majesty met artist Denzil Forrester and curator Beth Greenacre.
