Victor Osimhen is reportedly set for talks with Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal as Manchester United<\/a> focus their attention on Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.<\/p>\n MEN Sport understands that United<\/a> have made an opening offer for Mbeumo<\/a> worth \u00a355m as they focus on new targets following Liam Delap’s decision to join Chelsea<\/a>. The first bid by the Reds is thought to see \u00a345m paid up front with a further \u00a310m accumulated through add-ons.<\/p>\n Still, this figure is believed to be below what the Bees were expecting but talks shall continue between the two clubs. While Mbeumo mainly played as a right-sided winger last season, he did feature as a centre-forward for the London club.<\/p>\n While United are firmly locked in negotiations with Brentford, another rumoured target looks to be closing in on a move to the Saudi Pro League. Osimhen<\/a> has been heavily linked with the Reds as they aim to add a striker to their ranks this summer.<\/p>\n However, after being snubbed by Bruno Fernandes<\/a>, Al Hilal are now energised to bring in the Nigerian who could be an option for United if a deal with Mbeumo cannot be struck. According to Ben Jacobs<\/a>, Osimhen is in talks with Al Hilal after receiving a formal proposal from them.<\/p>\n It is believed the Saudis would be willing to pay his \u00a363m asking price but having been burnt by Fernandes, have set a tight deadline. They want to know if Osimhen is willing to join by June 10 so that he meets the first mini deadline of the transfer window and would be able to accompany them to this month’s Club World Cup in the United States.<\/p>\n Osimhen is now believed to be Al Hilal’s top target ahead of the tournament. The concern for United <\/a>is that they will not be able to offer the same wages as the Saudi club which means they would have to rely solely on their pull to get the deal done.<\/p>\n The Nigerian centre-forward did not leave Napoli last summer because he was uninterested in a move to the Saudi Pro League.
