It sparked travel chaos for hundreds of commuters on their journeys home on Thursday evening (June 5).<\/p>\n<p>Ealier, Transport for London (TfL) said a fire alert has closed the underground station, which links to the mainline station.<\/p>\n<p>Waterloo Underground&#8217;s status page on the TFL website now lists the station as &#8220;Part Closed&#8221;, explaining: &#8220;The Jubilee line and the Waterloo &amp; City line are not serving Waterloo station while we fix an electrical fault.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tickets are being accepted on London Buses and South Western Railway,&#8221; it adds. &#8220;The Bakerloo line, Northern line and National Rail services are not affected by this issue.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>South Western Railway, which operates from Waterloo Station, said services haven&#8217;t been affected, but station staff are aware.<\/p>\n<p>London Fire Brigade has been approached for details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THIS IS A LIVE BLOG.
