Edinburgh drivers <\/a>have been warned of delays on the city bypass.<\/p>\n

Traffic Scotland urged motorists to ‘approach with caution’, after a breakdown between the Calder and Baberton junctions. The A720 <\/a>was restricted from around 7.20pm, with ‘longer than normal’ journey times expected.<\/p>\n

Traffic Scotland said: “The A720 is restricted eastbound between Calder and Baberton junctions.<\/p>\n

“Motorists are advised to approach with caution and expect longer than normal journey times.”<\/p>\n

For morotists heading onto the M8, Traffic Scotland also warned of restrictions between junctions 3a and 4, with essential roadworks underway.<\/p>\n

They added: “The M8 between Junction 3a and 4 is currently restricted in both directions due to continuous essential roadworks.<\/p>\n

“Motorists should be aware that delays are possible.”<\/p>\n
