The Titanic is one of Liverpool’s most luxury hotels and over the years it has played host to A-List popstars, Premier League<\/a> legends and high profile visitors to the city. Last night, The Titanic Hotel was awarded Bronze in the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2025, in the large hotel of the year category.<\/p>\n

The waterfront hotel is often where footballers first stay in the region immediately after they join one of the city’s two Premier League<\/a> clubs. The ECHO reviewed the hotel in 2023<\/a> and potentially got a look inside one of the rooms pop star Taylor Swift, or members of her team, stayed in<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rooms on the top floor of the four star hotel boast large bay windows which enable you to soak in a panoramic view of the city’s waterfront.<\/p>\n

If your room is on the left of the corridor, guests are able to take in Liverpool’s storied history as you can enjoy views of the Grade II listed Tobacco Warehouse. If your room is on the other side then you get a glimpse of Everton FC’s <\/a>Bramley Moore stadium.<\/p>\n

The Presidential Suite is the most luxurious room available and rates start from \u00a3384 if you book in advance. The rooms at the Titanic boast a nod to to the hotel’s theme with a rotary dial phone and 1920s-style ship paintings adorning the walls.<\/p>\n

The hotel also features the Maya Blue Wellness Spa, which gives guests the opportunity to unwind. The Maya Blue Wellness Spa boasts a hydrotherapy pool, foot baths, saunas and a steam room.<\/p>\n

Taking first place in the large hotel category was Mallory Court Country House Hotel & Spa in Warwickshire, with the Silver award presented to Sandburn Hall in North Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

And while The Titanic was recognised in a category dedicated to large hotels, a pint-sized seaside B&B scooped up gold awards in two categories at last night’s ceremony.<\/p>\n

Sunnyside Bed and Breakfast won B&B and Guest House of the Year for the whole of the UK, as well as picking up gold in the category of Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Award.<\/p>\n

The prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence have been running for more than 30 years.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s winners were selected from hundreds of tourism businesses across England including hotels, self-catering accommodation, B&Bs, glamping operators, attractions, restaurants, pubs and museums, forwarded to the national competition via local and regional competitions across England.<\/p>\n

VisitEngland Director Andrew Stokes said: \u201cThese annual Awards are an opportunity to applaud and showcase the businesses and individuals who provide outstanding customer service and continuously improve their products and offer for visitors.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom a captivating science museum in Merseyside to a fully accessible hotel in Bournemouth, from cow cuddling on a farm in Yorkshire to fine dining in Lancashire, this year\u2019s winners show just how varied and diverse our industry is and what makes it great.<\/p>\n
