Just a stone\u2019s snowball\u2019s throw from London lies <strong>the longest toboggan run in the entire country<\/strong>. And you can take a ride on it for less than the price of a pint in the city. Not bad, hey?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chatham Snowsports Centre<\/strong> is the name, and \u2013 well, it does what it says on the tin, really \u2013 offering up a whole host of snowy activities (minus the snow) is the game. One particularly exciting activity on offer is the longest toboggan run the UK. And if all that adrenaline has made you slightly peckish; there\u2019s an on-site Alpine Bar where you can refuel and rehydrate after your snow-sport sesh.<\/p>\n<p> Getting to Chatham Snowsports Centre from London <\/p>\n<p>Chatham Snowsports Centre is approximately a <strong>90 minute drive<\/strong> from the capital city. Non-drivers need not worry, though \u2013 because it\u2019s equally as speedy to get there by train. The closest station to the centre is <strong>Chatham<\/strong>, which is a direct train from <strong>London Victoria<\/strong>. You can then hop on a bus or in a taxi for the short onward journey to the centre.
