Prince William stole the show as Aston Villa were valiantly downed by PSG. A generous five-minute interview with Ally McCoist and Rio Ferdinand gave us a peek behind the royal curtain. And now we want more.<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales gave viewers an insight into Unai Emery’s mind, tactics and training sessions. That’s more than what some of the current crop of pundits offer. He wasn\u2019t just there for show – he spoke with the passion of a lifelong supporter and the joy of someone who genuinely loves the game.<\/p>\n

Prince William<\/a>‘s knowledge ran much deeper than anybody anticipated. He congratulated unused sub Lamare Bogarde on signing a new contract as the 21-year-old was making his way onto the pitch for the warm-up.<\/p>\n

He even knew that Vitinha rarely featured for Wolves during an unsuccessful loan spell.<\/p>\n

In an era where punditry can feel over-rehearsed or cynical, William\u2019s authenticity was a breath of fresh air. Broadcasters must be devising plans to get him on our screens more often.<\/p>\n

F1 tracks not fit for purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

THE Japanese Grand Prix highlighted a big problem with some F1 tracks – they are no longer fit for purpose.<\/p>\n

The circuits were built to suit much smallers cars. The vehicles have grown a metre longer and 20cm wider over the past two decades, no wonder they can no longer pass each other on the narrow tarmac.<\/p>\n

Boat race<\/strong><\/p>\n

SPEAKING of boring races, it’s time to draw up a list of DIY tasks to do at home to avoid the elitist boat race on Sunday.<\/p>\n
