Antony is hoping to complete a move away from Manchester United this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After leaving Manchester United<\/a> for the second half of the season, Antony<\/a> rediscovered his best form on loan at Real Betis.<\/p>\n

The Brazil international enjoyed a sensational six-month spell at the La Liga club, scoring nine goals while also registering five assists in only 26 games.<\/p>\n

Antony\u2019s efforts ensured Real Betis qualified for the Europa League<\/a>, and they also reached the Europa Conference League final, only to lose 4-1 against Chelsea.<\/p>\n

In an ideal world for Betis, they would keep Antony beyond his loan deal, which expires later this month. Ineos are likely to sell the winger as he\u2019s an asset that can help raise funds for new transfers to bolster Ruben Amorim\u2019s<\/a> squad ahead of next season.<\/p>\n

That means Betis are set to face stiff competition in their pursuit of signing Antony.<\/p>\n

Antony could be reunited with former United manager Erik ten Hag<\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

Ten Hag was in charge of United when Antony joined in a deal worth \u00a382 million in 2022, joining from Ajax, where the pair initially worked together.<\/p>\n

It was never a secret that Antony received preferential treatment at United, but he would lose his place in the team last season and was eventually pushed down the pecking order by Amad Diallo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That is unlikely to change under Ruben Amorim<\/a>, with Antony set to find a new club this summer.<\/p>\n

According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Antony is one of several forward players Bayer Leverkusen are looking at if Florian Wirtz leaves this summer.<\/p>\n

A move would see Antony work with Ten Hag for a third time.<\/p>\n

It is also understood that United\u2019s preference is for a permanent deal rather than sending him on loan for a consecutive season.<\/p>\n

What are Antony\u2019s options this summer?<\/p>\n

Although the report cited above claims a return to Old Trafford<\/a> cannot be ruled out, Antony looks set to be moved on so United can raise extra funds for new players.<\/p>\n

Real Betis want to keep Antony, but a permanent deal would be difficult for the Spanish club.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also Atletico Madrid in Spain with interest in Antony<\/a>, if his preference is to remain in La Liga.<\/p>\n

On top of that, Juventus joined the race for Antony<\/a> recently, so United could see Antony become the subject of a bidding war in the coming weeks or months.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
