Warning for thousands of UK tourists who will be in Tenerife ‘this Saturday’<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nThe TikTok creator has a following of 40,000, and he regularly updates them on the do’s and don’ts of Benidorm, including his his latest video, which details the three most treacherous zones in the bustling city.<\/p>\n
The first location is the ‘Yellow Brick Road’, a strip including bars, restaurants, and entertainment.<\/p>\n
Harry said: “The Yellow Brick Road \u2013 this little public pathway […] leads all the way up to the Rio Park. Now, it has been known for a few things, mainly small thefts like pickpocketing.<\/p>\n
“Generally, during the day, it’s absolutely fine. I’d recommend avoiding it at night.”<\/p>\n
Pueblo Alley by the Hotel Pueblo, adjacent to Levante Beach made the second spot.<\/p>\n
The social media star continued: “This is one I definitely recommend avoiding, especially late at night, as you do get the pickpockets hanging around this area.”<\/p>\n
“You also get the odd lady of the night. There are plenty of other ways around.”<\/p>\n
Finally, ‘Mugger’s Alley’ rounded out the list due to it notoriety for pickpocketing.<\/p>\n
“It is the most notorious \u2013 it’s the one we all know,” Harry said. Adding: “Known for pickpocketing, ladies of the night, it’s just an area I would avoid.<\/p>\n
“They’re even doing these new taxi scams. It’s crazy. Save yourself the hassle and cross the road.”<\/p>\n
A public Facebook post also warned about the area, writing: “It’s located at the start of the strip opposite the Hotel Flash and runs behind the white ‘SATE’ building, near Morgan Tavern.<\/p>\n
“It’s safe enough in the day but late at night you’ll likely get approached by ‘hugger muggers’ (individuals who will invade your space pretending to know you whilst swiping your valuables), prostitutes and robbers.”<\/p>\n
“Men on their own are the main target so stay together and walk in front of the sate building, not behind it.<\/p>\n
