Cardiff have confirmed the signing of former England U20s World Cup winner George Nott from the Dragons.<\/p>\n

The athletic second-row joins the Blue & Blacks following three seasons at the Dragons, where he has made 41 appearances.<\/p>\n

Standing at 6ft 6in and tipping the scales over 18 stone, Nott brings size and physicality, while being renowned for his technical ability at the lineout and soft skills.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom speaking to both current and past players, I have heard nothing but good things about the environment, they have all been enthusiastic about how much they enjoy it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve also always found the Arms Park a really difficult place to play as there is such a good atmosphere, so I\u2019m really looking forward to being on the home side and benefiting from the home fans\u2019 support.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nott was born in Bodelwyddan and raised in North Wales, before progressing through the Sale Sharks academy.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old worked closely with Cardiff forwards coach Corniel van Zyl at London Irish and will now compete with Ben Donnell, Josh McNally, Rory Thornton and Teddy Williams.<\/p>\n
