More details have been shared about an exciting new outdoor terrace and bar that will be coming to St Ann\u2019s Square<\/a> later this month.<\/p>\n

It was recently announced <\/a>that Spanish car giant CUPRA will be opening its first ever UK Car Garage, which will be a vehicle showroom and culture hub focusing on music, food and wellness.<\/p>\n

The space, which is opening towards the end of June, will host regular events that ‘satisfy the variety of passions that move the members of the CUPRA tribe’ including live performances, art exhibitions and expert talks. It will also feature a cocktail bar with an outside area.<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, the venue will feature an evolving calendar of immersive experiences and events featuring a range of local and up-and-coming artists and performers.<\/p>\n

According to an application with Manchester Council<\/a> for a pavement licence, the outside space will consist of a terrace area with four tables. The plans for the licence are in consultation until June 18.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for CUPRA has told the Manchester Evening News that the \u2018relaxed space\u2019 will \u2018embrace Manchester\u2019s caf\u00e9 culture\u2019, with food and drink served at its Counter Culture events featuring local and independent brands, like Hip Pop and popular Pan-Asian haunt Unagi.<\/p>\n

Whilst reiterating that plans are under review, CUPRA said the space would be \u2018small, thoughtful and vibrant, reflecting the character of St Ann\u2019s Square\u2019.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for CUPRA added: \u201cWe are really looking forward to welcoming guests from our opening weekend and to announcing the full CUPRA Counter Culture line-up at the launch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marking the 12th CUPRA City Garage in the world, the Manchester location is set to open on June 26. Marcus Gossen, CUPRA UK Brand Director, previously said: \u201cManchester was the natural destination for us.<\/p>\n
