A man has been arrested and charged after the home of gangster Kevin ‘Gerbil’ Carroll<\/a>‘s widow was allegedly firebombed.<\/p>\n Kelly ‘Bo’ Green’s home on Drumchapel Road in Glasgow<\/a> was allegedly attacked in the early hours of May 13. Cops confirmed a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection after a warrant was executed at an address in Glasgow two weeks later.<\/p>\n He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on May 30. Pictures taken from the scene <\/a>show black scorch marks at the front of the bungalow-type house.<\/p>\n Kelly is one of the daughters of the late crime boss Jamie Daniel<\/a> who died of cancer in 2016.<\/p>\n The mum-of-three is believed to have had two children with Gerbil <\/a>and he also became a step-father to her eldest son.<\/p>\n Before being gunned down in an Asda car park in Robroyston<\/a> in January of 2010, Gerbil was the Daniel clan’s main enforcer.<\/p>\n The home <\/a>is understood to have been allegedly targeted amid an explosive gangland war in Scotland.<\/p>\n Violence erupted in Edinburgh in March after cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson’s cronies<\/a> ripped off Dubai-based Mr Big – recently unmasked as Ross McGill – in a \u00a3500,000 drug deal.<\/p>\n Since then, McGill’s foot soldiers<\/a> have been targeting the associates of Richardson by targeting their homes, cars and businesses.<\/p>\n The relentless vendetta spilled into Glasgow, where members of the infamous Daniels crime clan<\/a> have also been targeted due to their links to Richardson.<\/p>\n However, Richardson earlier retaliated to the violence by offering a huge \u00a3100,000 bounty<\/a> to track the hitmen waging war on his crew.<\/p>\n On Saturday, Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons Jnr – who were both major players in the Lyons crime clan – were killed at Monaghans<\/a> Bar in Spain.<\/p>\n Monaghan, 43, and Eddie Jnr<\/a>, 46, have been involved in a bloody rivalry with the Daniel group dating back more than 20 years.<\/p>\n McGill\u2019s out of control gang Tamo Junto<\/a> (TMJ) have named an individual gangland kingpin they say orchestrated the fatal shootings.<\/p>\n A source close to McGill\u2019s gang said: \u201cTMJ<\/a> have put the word out that it was a well-known figure who ordered the murders in the Costa Del Sol.<\/p>\n \u201cThis guy was expected to retaliate against a series of attacks<\/a> on his associates at some point, but it\u2019s fair to say the audacity of this has left everyone shocked.\u201d<\/p>\n Police say extensive inquiries into the wars <\/a>are ongoing.<\/p>\n Over the course of their investigation, named Operation Portaledge<\/a>, over 8,000 homes have been visited and more than 1,600 vehicles have been stopped.<\/p>\n As of Friday, the total number of individuals to be arrested as part of the probe <\/a>reached 42.<\/p>\n Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Ferry said: \u201cI want to be clear that violence <\/a>will not be tolerated, and we will not stop until we bring those responsible to justice.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are still following positive lines <\/a>of enquiry, and this arrest highlights our continued resolve to target organised crime.<\/p>\n \u201cThe support of our communities remains vital, and I want to again express my sincere thanks to the public for their continued help and information <\/a>so far.<\/p>\n![\"Kelly](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1749216253_18_0_CapturePNG.png\")
