Black Sabbath’s final ever concert<\/a> will be broadcast live to the world after tickets to the Back To The Beginning Villa Park show sold out in minutes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ozzy Osbourne’s last performance is scheduled to take place in Aston on Saturday, July 5, with the original line-up coming together to perform the hits for a final time.<\/p>\n

Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler will join with Ozzy for the first time in 20 years for an all-day special event held in the neighbourhood that started it all.<\/p>\n

They’ll be supported on the day by some of the biggest bands in heavy metal, the genre they founded more than 50 years ago, including Metallica, Gun N’ Roses, Anthrax, Slayer and Mastodon.<\/p>\n

Tickets to the hottest gig of the year sold out within minutes, causing disappointment among those who couldn’t secure passes to the 40,000-capacity stadium.<\/p>\n

Now fans all over the world can tune in to see the gig as it’s live-streamed online.<\/p>\n

Profits from the 16-minute sell-out will be split between three charities, Acorns Children’s Hospice, the Birmingham<\/a> Children’s Hospital and Cure Parkinson’s.<\/p>\n

The gig will now be a pay-per-view event that fans have to purchase tickets for, though the prices are yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

It’s expected that Ozzy will play his own short set at the show before joining with Black Sabbath for the final bow.<\/p>\n

As well as being able to watch the live stream, fans will have access to rewatch the concert in full for a further 48 hours.<\/p>\n

Live stream tickets go on sale at 3pm today, Friday, June 6, at www.backtothebeginning.com<\/a> <\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sharon Osbourne commented: “We had such an overwhelming demand from fans from around the globe, who couldn’t get tickets to the show, and they took to social media, pleading with us to broadcast a livestream of the show.<\/p>\n

“Being this is such a historic event, we just couldn\u2019t let them down.”<\/p>\n

Mercury Studios is the organisation capturing, producing and distributing the show, the firm behind Metallica Saved My Life, One To One: John and Yoko and American Symphony.<\/p>\n

Managing director Kelly Sweeney said: “Mercury Studios are incredibly proud to be involved in capturing this monumental milestone at Villa Park.<\/p>\n
