Nestled in a small city centre spot, the space is known for serving generous helpings of delectable sweet treats.

The Seel Street establishment opened its doors back in January, but it’s only now that it’s starting to gain traction online, with videos showcasing its menu going viral.

Intrigued, I decided to pay a visit on a balmy Wednesday afternoon to see what all the hype was about. Miss Drippy specialises in desserts and hot beverages, offering £1 coffees and a variety of popular sweet delights.

The menu features familiar favourites like s’mores, waffles, and milkshakes, along with cookie dough accompanied by Lotus Biscoff, Kinder Bueno, and Nutella as optional toppings.

Inside this charming little corner, bare-bricked walls adorned with silver railings are the sole decorations.

The minimalist vibe extends to the ambiance, with sparse seating and the constant hum of a beeping noise and the ice cream machine working overtime providing the background soundtrack.

Miss Drippy sells £1 coffees

While the place certainly distinguishes itself from other dessert spots in the city, I’m still undecided whether it’s for the right reasons.

However, any doubts are momentarily forgotten when the Oreo Cookie Dough arrives at your table. This towering dessert, laden with crumbled biscuits, assorted chocolate sauces, and perfectly melted marshmallows, is a sight to behold.

Each mouthful was a celebration of flavours, making the overall experience quite memorable. The contrasting cold and warm textures only enhanced the joy for my taste buds.

Naturally, I had to sample one of their coffees, especially given the enticing £1 price tag. As is my custom, I opted for an iced caramel latte. Initially, the coffee was warm when served, but after a quick stir and a brief wait, it cooled down as originally requested.

The cookie dough was the star of the show by far

The caramel flavour was delightfully strong, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the same praise cannot be extended to the vanilla matcha I also ordered.

The powder wasn’t fully dissolved, resulting in chunky sips rather than the smooth blend matchas are adored for. Its texture was more reminiscent of a KFC Krushem.

Situated on Seel Street, amidst a plethora of restaurants in the city, this establishment is perfectly positioned for a post-dinner sugar hit at affordable prices.

However, it exudes more of a takeaway atmosphere, which is fortunate considering its proximity to the breathtaking waterfront or the sun-soaked steps adjacent to John Lewis in Liverpool ONE.

[8815
748,393,786,4884,179,2349,16,15
0":"post-16328","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-liverpool","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-england","10":"tag-food-and-drink","11":"tag-great-britain","12":"tag-liverpool","13":"tag-liverpool-city-centre","14":"tag-uk","15":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
