{"id":163460,"date":"2025-06-06T17:08:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T17:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/163460\/"},"modified":"2025-06-06T17:08:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T17:08:09","slug":"guenther-steiner-set-for-motorsport-comeback-after-his-f1-exit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/163460\/","title":{"rendered":"Guenther Steiner set for motorsport comeback after his F1 exit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Former Haas and Red Bull chief Guenther Steiner could land a new role at a MotoGP team, marking a surprise move into the motorcycle racing series now under the ownership of Liberty Media, which also owns F1.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Steiner has been out of work since being replaced by Ayao Komatsu as Haas team principal ahead of the 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">F1<\/a> season.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Italian is now<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/news\/1072579\/1\/tech3-motogp-team-confirms-ex-f1-boss-guenther-steiner-investment-talks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> nearing a return to motorsport <\/a>with the Tech3 MotoGP outfit.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Steiner has been in talks about being involved with the motorcycle team in some capacity.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">His exact role is still unclear, with Tech3 boss Herve Poncharal outlining a range of roles Steiner could fill, from investor, partner, minority shareholder or helping with sponsorship.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It will see Steiner return under the Liberty Media umbrella after F1\u2019s owners completed the takeover of MotoGP &#8211;
