{"id":163963,"date":"2025-06-06T21:31:24","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T21:31:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/163963\/"},"modified":"2025-06-06T21:31:24","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T21:31:24","slug":"kings-lynns-queen-elizabeth-hospital-and-anglian-ruskin-university-are-working-together-to-deliver-nursing-education-in-west-norfolk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/163963\/","title":{"rendered":"King\u2019s Lynn\u2019s Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Anglian Ruskin University are working together to deliver nursing education in West\u00a0Norfolk"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A partnership between Lynn\u2019s hospital and a university means that aspiring nurses can now train at a dedicated satellite training site.<\/p>\n<p>This new strategic partnership between the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Anglian Ruskin University (ARU) will bring pre-registration nursing education directly to West Norfolk, making this closer to home for many nursing students \u2013 with a training site at the QEH.<\/p>\n<p>Launching in September, the collaboration will provide new local pathways into nursing and marks a significant investment in the future of the healthcare workforce.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rthmb\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg xmlns=\" http:=\"\" viewbox=\"0 0 1417 871\" alt=\"The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Anglian Ruskin University have announced a new partnership\" data-root=\"\/_media\/img\/\" data-path=\"V7GQ1VVSWQ0G7KHR9B72.jpg\" data-ar=\"1.63\"\/>The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Anglian Ruskin University have announced a new partnership<\/p>\n<p>The site will offer up to 30 student places per cohort, supporting the delivery of:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 BSc (Hons) Nursing (Child)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Foundation Degree Nursing Associate (via direct entry and apprenticeship routes)<\/p>\n<p>This new initiative aligns with the NHS People Plan\u2019s commitment to grow and develop the nursing workforce by increasing access to high-quality education and training, closer to home.<\/p>\n<p>Students at the QEH satellite site will benefit from access to expert academic staff, clinical placements within the hospital and community settings, and cutting-edge simulation-based learning environments, all designed to prepare them for successful careers in nursing.<\/p>\n<p>Pippa Street, chief nurse at the hospital, said: \u201cThis partnership marks a major milestone.
