With the summer sun calling us all out to beer gardens, music festivals and other outdoor spots, many of us will be looking forward to enjoying a drink in the warmer weather.<\/p>\n
Fortunately for foodies and fans of drinks of the brewed variety, Bristol is home to an abundance of food and drink festivals and events to sink your teeth into this year – quite literally.<\/p>\n
We’ve made a list you can browse here<\/a>, but carry on reading to learn everything you need to know about next week’s Craft Beer Festival<\/a> – from tickets, to the line-up, food and drink<\/a>, music, what you can expect, and more…<\/p>\n What is Bristol Craft Beer Festival?<\/p>\n Celebrating its 10th year this year, the Bristol Craft Beer Festival will boast more than 300 beers from more than 50 world-class breweries.<\/p>\n Ticket holders will be able to enjoy all-inclusive pours, live music, food, and an overall festival experience.<\/p>\n When and where is it taking place this year?<\/p>\n Bristol Craft Beer Festival is taking place at the Amphitheatre on the weekend of Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14.<\/p>\n From its early days as a niche gathering for beer aficionados to its current status as a flagship UK festival, Bristol Craft Beer Festival has grown alongside the city\u2019s thriving indie scene.<\/p>\n This year, iconic names such as Arbor, Wiper and True, Siren Craft Brew, Bristol Beer Factory, Tiny Rebel, Vault City, Fierce and Chouffe return, alongside acclaimed newcomers and international favourites.<\/p>\n Highlights include never-before-poured-in-Bristol brews from sought-after US breweries such as Two Blokes Brewing Co, Urban Artifact and SweetWater Brewing Company, as well as rare one-off collaborations and festival-only small batch releases. More exclusive taps will be revealed in the run-up to the event.<\/p>\n The festival\u2019s ‘Beyond Beer’ zone returns “bigger than ever”, showcasing an expanded line-up of craft cider, hard tea, cocktails and spirits.<\/p>\n Festival goers can expect unique pours from producers such as Kicking Goat Cider, Monkey Shoulder, Pulpt and Tipple Tea, ensuring there’s something for every palate.<\/p>\n Visitors can also enjoy food from a range of Bristol’s culinary names, including Japanese street food from Eatchu, Meltdown Cheeseburgers, BBQ from The Jolly Hog and wood-fired classics from Pig’s Pizza – with more announcements still to come.<\/p>\n More than 5,000 people are expected to attend the festival, which will also feature live music<\/a> and entertainment.<\/p>\n The music line-up at this year\u2019s Bristol Craft Beer Festival is described as highlighting “a mix of local talent and long-standing DJs who\u2019ve helped shape the city\u2019s music scene”.<\/p>\n Felix Joy, known for his SWU.FM<\/a> Breakfast Show and early days with Sip The Juice, brings a wide-ranging selection – from unreleased tracks to classic hip-hop.<\/p>\n Ben Daley, a long-time DJ with roots in rave, jungle, and UK garage, draws from over 30 years of experience behind the decks, blending everything from disco to house with a focus on rhythm and atmosphere.<\/p>\n Also on the line-up is Bill, whose sets combine techno, garage and breakbeat, often spotlighting new voices through her work with the Atypical collective.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t Admit Defeat (D.A.D) adds another layer with a mix of house, disco and garage, shaped by years of playing clubs across the UK and Europe.
