The champions in one top European league have their heart set on signing a key Chelsea player this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enzo Maresca<\/a> relied heavily on the likes of Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke<\/a> and Pedro Neto to hurt other teams\u2019 defences during the 2024\/25 season.<\/p>\n

Last month, Madueke was compared to Arsenal\u2019s Bukayo Saka<\/a> by former Chelsea<\/a> defender Jason Cundy, showing how dangerous he was at times last term.<\/p>\n

And it seems that the England international has caught the attention of one famous European club with his performances. <\/p>\n

In England, Newcastle United are interested in signing Madueke<\/a>, but the Magpies face competition from Napoli for the 23-year-old\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n

According to Napoli Network<\/a>, Giovanni Manna, who is the Serie A champions\u2019 sporting director, recently flew into London to hold talks about Madueke<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The outlet claims that Manna spoke to intermediaries about how much it will cost to sign the winger, discovering that Chelsea want \u00a350m for him.<\/p>\n

It would see them make a healthy profit after signing Madueke for around \u00a329m back in the 2023 winter transfer window.<\/p>\n

Madueke has been an important player for Maresca, making 41 appearances and scoring 11 goals under the Italian.<\/p>\n

However, despite a campaign where he showed a lot of promise, Chelsea look open to selling the England international.<\/p>\n

It was recently confirmed that Jadon Sancho would be heading back to Manchester United following the end of his loan spell at Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Mykhailo Mudryk is also still suspended from playing football, so the Blues are getting weaker in the wide positions.<\/p>\n

The above may not be enough to stop Chelsea from getting rid of Madueke if a good offer comes in, though.<\/p>\n

There is a belief at the club that Madueke\u2019s development has halted<\/a>, which is why they are willing to consider selling the former PSV Eindhoven man.<\/p>\n

Estevao Willian will be linking up with the senior squad soon, while there is still plenty of time left in the summer for Chelsea to sign a new winger. So the Blues will have the chance to replace both Sancho and Madueke if the latter also leaves Stamford Bridge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
