Francis Ngannou caught the attention of a heavyweight boxing star with his fearsome punches.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While the Cameroonian\u2019s clash with Anthony Joshua<\/a> didn\u2019t go to plan, his showdown with \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 made a massive statement.<\/p>\n

While Ngannou confessed he wasn\u2019t confident ahead of his fight with Tyson Fury<\/a>, when he got inside the ring, he put in an incredible effort, dropping the legend en route to narrowly missing out on causing the greatest upset in boxing history.<\/p>\n

However, his display didn\u2019t come as a surprise to a former interim world title holder who already knew exactly what \u2018The Predator\u2019 was capable of.<\/p>\n

Before Francis Ngannou<\/a> fought Joshua, Joe Joyce<\/a> opened up about his experience sparring the ex-UFC champion.<\/p>\n

The warrior, renowned for his remarkable toughness, confessed that the MMA star packs a serious punch.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In an interview with Metro<\/a>, Joyce explained: \u201cHe hits very hard and he can mix it with the best. I did that work with him at the UFC Institute in our first training camp for the Daniel Dubois<\/a> fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did four rounds with him. He hadn\u2019t done as much boxing training at that stage as he probably did before the Fury fight. But even then, he was very decent.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis power shots are incredible; you would want to stay out of the way of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
