Beyonc\u00e9 Knowles-Carter<\/a> lit up the stage for the second night of her “Cowboy Carter” tour in London,<\/a> and while fans were thrilled to see Les Twins dancing once again<\/a>, many pointed out one familiar face was missing.<\/p>\n

The Grammy-winning singer took the stage June 7 for her\u00a0Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0Tottenham Hotspur Stadium<\/a>. During the electric performance many fans noticed that Amari “Monster” Marshall, dubbed Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>‘s dance captain, was not among the performers onstage.<\/p>\n

One fan wrote, “What happened to Amari,” and many others cosigned.<\/p>\n

Marshall began working with Beyonc\u00e9 during her iconic 2018 Coachella “Beychella” performances. She eventually assumed the role of dance co-captain on the “Renaissance World Tour,” where she played a key part in mentoring Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s then 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy during her stage debut. Beyonc\u00e9 publicly praised Marshall for her guidance with the family dubbing her Blue\u2019s \u201cdance stage momma.<\/a>” She also took the stage with Bey during her 2024 Christmas Day NFL halftime show during the Texans-Ravens game.<\/a><\/p>\n

Marshall has continued performing with Beyonc\u00e9 as dance captain on the “Cowboy Carter” tour, often sharing photos from various tour stops. However, she appeared to be absent from the stage in London, and fans especially noticed during Saturday night\u2019s show. It’s not yet clear why Marshall didn’t appear onstage or if she’ll be making a return soon.<\/p>\n

The USA TODAY Network reached out to Beyonc\u00e9’s team for further information.<\/p>\n

The concert marked Beyonc\u00e9’s second of six shows at the stadium. She is set to hit the stage again June 10, 12, 14 and 16, before heading to Paris for three nights.As fans know,\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0first\u00a0debuted her “Cowboy Carter” tour<\/a>\u00a0at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with\u00a039 songs on the set list<\/a>. Her shows have been filled with family,\u00a0fashion<\/a>, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary.<\/p>\n

Of course, Beyonc\u00e9 first released the 27-track project in March 2024. It has since\u00a0made history<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0broken multiple records.<\/a>\u00a0As Beyonc\u00e9’s first country album, she deliberately featured country legends and emerging Black country artists alike. She became the first Black woman to win\u00a0best country album<\/a>\u00a0at the 2025 Grammys and also\u00a0took home album of the year.<\/a><\/p>\n

The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale\u00a0taking place in Las Vegas<\/a>\u00a0on July 26.<\/p>\n
