It comes as the pair continue to film for their new show, The Dyers’ Caravan Park, which is set to air on Sky Max and Now later this year.<\/p>\n
It will follow them as they take the reins of the business, which includes Priory Hill and sister site Nutts Farm, in a bid to make the Great British caravan holiday \u201ccool again\u201d.<\/p>\n
Dani, who has recently returned from her honeymoon after marrying West Ham football club captain Jarrod Bowen, kicked off the event by opening the gates at the front of the site, in Wing Road. Around 20 visitors were there waiting for her.<\/p>\n
She was soon joined by her dad, known for his role as Mick Carter in the BBC soap, who arrived on a coach that had brought people down from London.<\/p>\n
The 47-year-old made a small speech thanking the visitors for taking a look around the Sheppey park, where caravans and chalets are up for sale.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWe are proud to be part of this gaff, as is my little Dani, who has just got back from her honeymoon.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m very jealous. I wanted to go on that honeymoon,\u201d the West Ham fan added.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf anyone is interested in chalets or caravans, as it\u2019s a great holiday, come and ask me any questions.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you want a cuddle or a photo or whatever, I am here for you. Enjoy your day out. There\u2019s a barbecue on the firm, and there\u2019s a ride over there with the chavvies.\u201d<\/p>\n
Some of the visitors and residents took him up on his offer to take pictures and selfies, as did Dani \u2013 who gave one family a tour of a caravan.<\/p>\n
All the while, a TV crew from Expectation \u2013 the production company behind Clarkson\u2019s Farm \u2013 was filming the Dyers, staff, residents, and visitors for the six-part series.<\/p>\n

Cleaning company manager Dean Couldridge, was watching on with his wife Louise, 53, daughter Kaylee, 11, and her school friend Abi Lacey, 12. The south London family have had a lot on the park for the last three years and visit regularly.<\/p>\n
Dean, 54, said: \u201cIt\u2019s really positive to have the Dyers here, as it will bring the park some attention.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe come here as my family visited the camps here for holidays when I was very little, and my dad pretty much grew up on the Island. So we have just carried it on.\u201d<\/p>\n
One of the first visitors to arrive was foster carer Sharon McLaren, who has lived in Minster for seven years and was celebrating her 64th birthday. The grandmother-of-six, who has a chalet at one of the camps in Eastchurch, toured the park with her husband, Lionel Watson, 63.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI know there are a lot of TV crews down here, but I hadn\u2019t seen them before, so it\u2019s exciting.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s good for the club and the site.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou don\u2019t normally come across people from the TV.<\/p>\n
\u201cI haven\u2019t seen anything that Danny has been in, but lots of people really like him.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s good for the Island, as he\u2019s really popular.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dyer has spoken previously about his fond memories of spending childhood holidays<\/a> at the arcades, at the seaside crabbing, and going on beach walks.<\/p>\n He has also already featured in a social media promotion<\/a> for the caravan park.<\/p>\n In the video, which has attracted more than 45,000 likes on Instagram, the actor has a go at being an estate agent, to comedic effect.<\/p>\nThe advertising trailer off the A249 near the Sheppey Crossing.
