{"id":166984,"date":"2025-06-08T07:03:39","date_gmt":"2025-06-08T07:03:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/166984\/"},"modified":"2025-06-08T07:03:39","modified_gmt":"2025-06-08T07:03:39","slug":"wsp-buys-london-healthcare-consultant-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/166984\/","title":{"rendered":"WSP buys London healthcare consultant | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WSP has bought London healthcare and life sciences specialist Lexica for an undisclosed sum.<\/p>\n<p>The firm was set up in 2014 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Guy\u2019s and St Thomas\u2019 NHS Foundation Trust.<\/p>\n<p>It specialises in healthcare strategy and planning, property consultancy, cost management, project &amp; programme management as well as life sciences strategy, digital advisory and transformation and net zero advisory services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"picture\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"wsp\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/2004976_wsp_778676_crop.jpg\"  loading=\"eager\" class=\"lazyloaded\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The firm employs around 90 people and will be part of WSP\u2019s planning, property and advisory business, forming a new healthcare and life sciences advisory discipline.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Reilly, president and managing director, WSP in the UK and Ireland, said: \u201cThe acquisition of Lexica adds significant strength to our expanding UK advisory business. By combining deep sector expertise with a client-first mindset, we are scaling our capabilities to deliver smarter, more integrated solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In its last set of accounts filed at Companies House, Lexica improved turnover 10% to \u00a314.8m in the year to March 2024 with pre-tax profit falling 19% to \u00a31.3m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"WSP has bought London healthcare and life sciences specialist Lexica for an undisclosed sum.
