Following an investigation, legal action was initiated, and the case was taken up at the Mount Lavinia Magistrate\u2019s Court on May 30.<\/p>\n<p>The businessman pleaded guilty to the offence, and the court issued the suspended sentence in addition to the monetary fine.<\/p>\n<p>The CAA urged businesses to comply with consumer protection regulations and warned of continued enforcement actions across the island.
