Louane, the French 2025 representative, will release a compilation of her biggest songs, including her Eurovision entry, \u201cMaman\u201d.<\/p>\n

After a first announcement about an English version of her Eurovision entry, \u201cMaman\u201d, Louane recently announced her new album will be released a few days before the contest, on May 9.<\/p>\n

That new album promises to be very special as it will be a compilation of her most famous songs, including the two versions of \u201cMaman\u201d, in French and in English. Titled \u201cTiens mon best-of\u201d, the new album includes Louane\u2019s autograph and some demos. The album will have a limited run with only 1,000 copies available. Pre-orders of the album already opened on the singer\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

Louane will represent France in Eurovision 2025 with her song \u201cMaman\u201d. As a Big Five member, France is automatically qualified for the Grand Final of May 17.<\/p>\n

France was one of seven countries to participate in the first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. Since then they have participated in every contest aside from 1974 and 1982. Their withdrawal in 1974 was caused by the death of President Georges Pompidou, while 1982\u2019s withdrawal was a result of TF1 declining to enter the contest. France has won the contest on five occasions, the most recent being in 1977 when Marie Myriam performed \u201cL\u2019oiseau et l\u2019enfant\u201d. France\u2019s best result of the 21st century came in 2021 when Barbara Pravi finished second in Rotterdam. <\/p>\n
