Ruby Wallwork has been missing for more than 24 hours<\/p>\n

An urgent appeal for the public’s help to find a missing teenage girl has been issued by police.<\/p>\n

Ruby Wallwork’s mother has also issued a plea, saying the family ‘just want her back home safe with us where she belongs’.<\/p>\n

Police say they are ‘becoming increasingly concerned’ for her safety and welfare. Ruby, who is 13, has been described by her family as ‘vulnerable’.<\/p>\n

British Transport Police are also involved, as it’s believed she may have caught a train.<\/p>\n

A social media appeal was issued by police today – Sunday – with anyone with information being urged to come forward immediately. Images of Ruby have also been issued.<\/p>\n

She’s been missing for more than 24 hours now.<\/p>\n

Ruby, said Greater Manchester Police<\/a>, was last seen in the Kearsley area of Bolton<\/a> on Friday night. That was at around 11pm – and she hasn’t been seen since.<\/p>\n

In a statement on Sunday, GMP said: “Our officers in Salford<\/a> are becoming increasingly concerned for a teenage girl who has been missing for more than 24 hours.<\/p>\n

“Ruby Wallwork, 13, was last seen at around 11pm on Friday (6\/6\/25) on Ellesmere Close in Kearsley and reported missing at around 8am the following day.”<\/p>\n

Her mum, Amy Bell, said: “Ruby is a vulnerable young girl, our family miss and care about her so much. We just want her back home safe with us where she belongs.”<\/p>\n

Police chiefs based in Salford said a team of officers was currently ‘out looking for her’. CCTV footage is being analysed and her friends are being spoken to.<\/p>\n

Detective Chief Inspector Helen Bagnall said: “If anyone has any information, no matter how small, or thinks they may have seen Ruby, we would urge them to contact us. We have a team of officers out looking for her and we desperately want to bring her home to her family.<\/p>\n

“Officers have been trying to locate Ruby by reviewing CCTV, speaking to her friends and family, and checking known addresses. It is believed she may have caught a train so we are also working with neighbouring forces and British Transport Police.<\/p>\n

“Anyone with information should contact our team on 0161 856 5224. Alternatively call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting log 885-070625, or via the reporting tools on our website.” No further details have been revealed.<\/p>\n
