However, what is even \u201cmore damning\u201d in the eyes of the author is the Duke\u2019s \u201ccallous disregard for his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, revered as global treasures.\u201d <\/p>\n
Because back during their \u2018final years\u2019 while they \u201cfaced frailty and mounting pressures, Harry\u2019s public attacks\u2014through interviews, books, and documentaries\u2014cast an unforgivable shadow over their twilight.\u201d<\/p>\n
Whether that was the Oprah interview, or any of the other dozens of interviews they have racked up since, Mr Cohen feels that first one, \u201cfor a nation that adored [Queen Elizabeth\u2019s] quiet strength\u201d was \u2018a betrayal\u2019 that framed the Duke \u201cas a selfish figure who valued headlines over family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Also, before concluding he added that \u201cequally shocking are whispers that he explored adopting the surname Spencer, a move that, if true, would renounce the House of Windsor.\u201d <\/p>\n
