Elon Musk\u2019s team at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) installed a Starlink Wi-Fi terminal on the White House roof and used it to transmit a large amount of data, all of it undetected, a report by The Washington Post has revealed. The move reportedly took place in mid-March with the approval of Donald Trump\u2019s administration, despite objections from internal security teams.<\/p>\n

Starlink, operated by Musk\u2019s SpaceX, provides satellite-based internet access. While the official reason for the installation was to fix internet \u201cdead zones\u201d on the White House campus, insiders suggest there may have been other motives.<\/p>\n

Those close to the matter told The Post that the Starlink connection may have been used to bypass the White House\u2019s highly controlled network systems. \u201cStarlink doesn\u2019t require anything. It allows you to transmit data without any kind of record or tracking,\u201d one source claimed.<\/p>\n
