Liverpool are likely to make a number of relatively high profile sales this summer once their spending frenzy is over.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Reds are in line to pay a huge fee to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, and are set to balance that with several outgoings.<\/p>\n

Luis Diaz could leave, while there has been an expectation for some time that Darwin Nunez\u2019s time at Liverpool is over<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It would not be a surprise if others such as Kostas Tsimikas, Tyler Morton and Ben Doak are sold, while question marks hang over more in the Liverpool squad<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n

After the arrivals of young goalkeeper Armin Pecsi on Saturday, third choice goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros<\/a> is one of those with a slightly unclear future at Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And with the Reds tying up Pecsi, Jaros is seemingly now being targeted by former Liverpool assistant coach, and new Ajax manager, John Heitinga<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jaros has been highly rated<\/a> for a little while, and did well on the two appearances he made during a first full season in the Liverpool first-team.<\/p>\n

One of those matches, and the only start, came at Brighton in the Carabao Cup, where Jaros was \u2018brilliant<\/a>\u2018 as the Reds won 3-2.<\/p>\n

But with Pecsi and Giorgi Mamardashvili arriving, the Czech looks a little redundant now at Liverpool. As a result, it is no surprise to hear that he is looking for a move away.<\/p>\n

According to Dutch outlet Voetbal International<\/a>, that move could be to Ajax, where Heitinga has just been installed.<\/p>\n

They claim that the Dutch club are looking to sign Jaros on loan, and are planning to use him as their first choice goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

The Liverpool goalie reportedly has interest from French side Lille as well, although it\u2019s claimed that he would join as second choice if he goes to France.<\/p>\n

Ajax move would work for Jaros<\/p>\n

There were reports over the year that Jaros wanted to leave Liverpool last summer<\/a>. After winning a league title with Austrian club Sturm Graz in 2023\/24, it was a bit of a comedown to being third choice back at Anfield.<\/p>\n

However, spending a year training with Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher, as well as making a couple of outings for Liverpool, should still have helped the 23-year-old\u2019s development.<\/p>\n

But with Pecsi now in the mix as well, it is clear that Jaros need to get more regular game time next season.<\/p>\n

Although it would be another loan, a move to Ajax to be first choice would be a brilliant step for the Czech international.<\/p>\n
